The SJC gold price in Hanoi was traded at 47.49 million dong/tael, 20,000 dong/tael higher the price in HCM City, down 60,000 dong per tael from last weekend.

The gap between the buying and selling prices is about 200,000-400,000 dong/tael.

The spot gold price on Kitco floor is currently at $1,848 per ounce, falling $10 per ounce from last weekend. Previously, the gold price on Kitco floor climbed to $1,863 per ounce.

According to the forex rate at Vietnam Commercial Joint Stock Bank for Foreign Trade (Vietcombank-VCB), the global gold price is still lower than the local gold price by one million dong per tael. - DVT
