Two Kowloon sites up for auction in HK

Two sites in Kowloon peninsula, Hong Kong, have been triggered for sale under the Application List System and an auction will be held on Aug. 17, according to local government website on Wednesday.

The Hong Kong government has accepted the minimum guaranteed bid of 1.77 billion HK dollars for Kowloon Inland Lot 11120, at Hung Hom Bay Reclamation Site D1, at the junction of Oi King Street and Hung Luen Road; and 2.857 billion HK dollars for Kowloon Inland Lot 11125, at 204 Argyle Street. These will be the opening bids at the auction.

Kowloon Inland Lot 11120 has a site area of 7,551 square meters and is designated for non-industrial (excluding godown, hotel and petrol station) purposes. The minimum gross floor area and the maximum gross floor area are 20,387 square meters and 33,979 square meters.

Kowloon Inland Lot 11125 has a site area of 7,326 square meters and is designated for private residential purposes. The minimum gross floor area and the maximum gross floor area are 21,978 square meters and 36,630 square meters.

The final conditions of sale for the two lots will be available for distribution and uploaded onto the Lands Department’s website by July 30. (7.786 HK dollars =1 U.S. dollar)
