To thoroughly wipe the entire seal, you’ll probably need a lot of cotton buds, so gather your supplies now.
Make sure to thoroughly clean the interior of the seal to remove any mold or dirt that may have accumulated.
It’s possible that the accumulation is worse at the seal’s bottom, but it doesn’t mean the top is any more hygienic and should be left to its own ways.
Rinse the vinegar and debris from the seal after it has been thoroughly cleaned. Running a hot, empty cycle in the washing machine is the quickest and most convenient way to accomplish this.
